I have just one the guitar of my dreams! I got to choose any guitar I wanted. There was many options from electric to acoustic, from Fender guitars to Taylor guitars. The guitar that I ended up chosing was the Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang USA Custom.
I had many choices and struggled narrowing it down once I got to the main three guitars I wanted. Which was the Taylor 3T/b guitar, Fender Custom Shop 60th Anniversary Series Broadcaster Electric Guitar, and of course the Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang USA Custom Guitar. There was many different reasons I liked these guitars and why chosing just one of these guitars over another was so hard. All of the guitars had really good sound, but I found that the Wolfgang USA fit my style the best. It had the perfect hardcore electric sound that I fell in love with as soon as I heard it.
The guitar construction was designed by Eddie Van Halen. This was a very important guitar to him and he named it after his son, Wolfgang. This guitars body is made out of Mahogany and its fretboard is made out of Ebony. It also has the EVH® Branded Strings, (.009-.046 Gauges) that I really like over the Taylors gauges .010 – .046. Another thing that is important me is that it does not sound as neutral, standard, or acoustic, unlike the Taylor or Fender guitars. The Wolfgang has a very unique and custom made sounds. It mimicks the sounds of animals and sounds very hardcore electric.
Also with the bonus accesaries it made picking the Wolfgang that much easier. It has a custom ampifier designed just for this brand, the 5150 limited edition. I chose this amp because it has really nice speakers and it has so many controls. It has volume and tone controls for all of the many speakers it has. Another thing that it has is the really cool vintage tan and orange paint job. I like it because it shows the nice wood and how it is a really light tone and doesn't look to modern like a white or black guitar would.
I feellike the luckiest person in the world for getting this opportunity to get a guitar for free. I would gladly take any of these three guitars. Since I get the the choice though, I have chose the EVH Wolfgang Custom, and would reccomend it for anyone else out there who wants a really good guitar.
